Job Title: IELTS Coordinator (Online and Face-to-face)(1 nos.)

Job Description:

The IELTS Coordinator reports to the IELTS Operations Manager (Australia) and the Business Manager (Nepal) and is responsible in day-to-day IELTS preparation centre operations both in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the IELTS Operations Manager in designing materials for IELTS teaching both in actual and virtual learning environment.
  • Allocate class hours for the IELTS instructors in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • Assess students’ English language proficiency prior to enrolling them in IELTS.
  • Conduct IELTS mock tests and prepare the results.
  • Proofread students’ SOP.
  • Help in IELTS marketing.
  • Liaise with EdTech for maintaining high level of English language teaching for IELTS.
  • Facilitate group discussion at IELTS@TECGroup on facebook.
  • Perform Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in English Language Teaching for IELTS
  • IELTS with an overall band score of 7.0


Job Title: IELTS Instructors (2 nos.)
Location: 
Kathmandu/Pokhara
Type: 
Part-time (noncontractual)
Term: 
3 months (with a possibility of an extension)

A successful candidate:

  • must be a Native English speaker;
  • should have an exposure to English communication with non-native English users;
  • can make teaching plans based on learners’ need;
  • can engage learners aiming at building their habits of reading, writing, listening and speaking English;
  • should be able to create useful learning resources assessing learners’ prior knowledge of English;
  • is able to conduct the mock test on a weekly basis;
  • can provide feedbacks on students’ writing and speaking skills based on IELTS marking benchmarks;
  • should have visa to stay in Nepal at least for 6 months.

Job Title: Education Consultants (2 nos.)
Location: Kathmandu/Pokhara
Type: Full-time
Term: 2 years

A successful candidate:

  • should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
  • must be able to give professional advice to the students who are interested in studying in Australia;
  • must have knowledge about Australian Education System;
  • is willing to travel outside Kathmandu;
  • has excellent written communication skills in English;
  • has verbal skills to conduct seminars;
  • should have a high level of problem-solving skills;
  • is good at MS Suite;
  • is able to assist students to access educational information, buy health insurance, find accommodation, and provide other support whenever necessary;
  • is good at assessing students’ documents in order for obtaining the letter of offer and the e-CoE;
  • is able to maintain relations with education providers, agents and referrers;
  • can report the progress of the task in a timely manner to the immediate supervisor;
  • has interests in business development and growth;
  • is good at using social media for the purpose of marketing;
  • should have a learning attitude.

Job Title: Office Assistants (2 nos.)
Location: Kathmandu/Pokhara
Type: Full-time
Term: 2 years

A successful candidate:  

  • should have completed at least high school education;
  • must have skills in answering phone calls and emails;
  • should have an ability in forwarding information received from the emails and phones calls;
  • can maintain the record of office supplies; place the orders, and keep receipts;
  • is able to perform administrative tasks as required by the role;
  • can schedule meetings, seminar and promotional events;
  • must have friendly and welcoming nature to look after walk-ins;
  • is able to handle documents of students based on the checklist provided;
  • can communicate clearly both in English and Nepali with all staff members;
  • should have teamwork and problem-solving skills;
  • must be good at MS Office including outlook;
  • is interested in updating knowledge and skills required to perform the role;
  • can assist Education Consultant and other related staff members in the offices of Nepal and Australia;
  • can maintain the day-book and petty cash;
  • can assist in Test Prep department;
  • can conduct the mock test and IELTS practice test;
  • is able to perform office secretarial tasks such as filing, photocopying and documentation;

Job Title: Business Manager (1 nos.)
Location: Kathmandu/Pokhara
Type: Full-time
Term: 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Travel to/from Kathmandu and Pokhara,
  • Train education counselors and other administrative staff members,
  • Coordinate between TEC Group branches ensuring maximum productivity,
  • Make an annual budget for business operations,
  • Prepare a smart marketing plan,
  • Conduct seminars for studying in Australia and Japan,
  • Develop goals and objectives that tend to company’s growth,
  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to achieve set goals,
  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness,
  • Maintain relationships with business associates,
  • Liaise closely with professional bodies and related government departments,
  • Write reports on a regular basis assessing overall company performance against set objectives,
  • Represent TEC Group in events, conferences, etc.,
  • Ensure faithfulness to legal rules and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience as a business manager or relevant role
  • High level organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth understanding of education consultancy business
  • Broad knowledge of MS Office, Apps and other digital devices
  • Sound in conducting research
  • Bachelor in any discipline
